The question is how IT Industry is going to be benefited by such a bold act of Prime Minister Modi, as Nasscom told reporters “With adaption to the current changes that are occurring in the economy IT industry will gain a lot from the demonetisation of currency in India.”

When asked about if Nasscom is gonna grab that opportunity which they are talking about as it is one of those big company that defines IT industries in India they simply said “I think it is more of us giving proposals. I just discussed with Dr Ajay Kumar (additional secretary, MEITY- Ministry of Electronics and IT). I said, ‘I want to come and discuss with you. Because, I think, in lot of areas, the need for data analytics, the need for mass availability of applications which can be readily used in a multi-lingual environment.”

Answering another question Gurnani explained that the main reason growth forecasting for IT industry is reduced is due to New President in USA and Brexit-Europe. More would be explained on how to re-energise the industry, Nasscom said in a later meeting at Bhubaneswar.
